Viva la Verve Returns August Sketch Challenge

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Happy Friday!
I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend!
So as I was making my bloggy visits I came across a post stating that Julee has started the Viva la Verve challenges back up. Super happy about this and I get to use some of my new crafty goodies from Verve Stamps. Yiippee!

Here is my take on the sketch:
For my card, I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies from GMD and the "Festive Wishes" paper pack.
For the border I used sparkly turquoise washi tape, which I found in my crafty stash. Yippee!
The stockings & sentiment are from the Jolly Jingles stamp set and I also used the Winter Friends die set. Both are from Verve Stamps. The stockings were colored using Spectrum Noir Markers. I used the Hampton Art Stamp Perfect Tool to stamp "the stockings were hung" sentiment on a circle die cut and the Floral Doily Motifs die (pink) from Spellbinders. To complete my card, I added a Totally Red Trendy Twine bow and rhinestones for extra sparkle. I also used this same sketch to join in on other challenges as well.

I used a gold jelly roll pen on the bells and glitter glue (white) for some sparkle.

Here is a closer view of the pretty bow using the Totally Red Trendy Twine.

Thanks!

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Happy Tuesday!
Well I took a little break to catch up with things at home and a little time to rest as well.
Since I am feeling much better and I am all caught up with things at home, I was finally able to craft this weekend so I decided to make a card for the Victorine Originals Challenge 8 - Purple. For my card base, I used the stitched rectangles dies from Gina Marie Designs.
The pretty purple pattern paper is from the Zodiac Premium Stack by DCWV.
I used the Hampton Art Stamp Perfect Tool and purple ink to stamp the "Thanks!" sentiment from Victorine Stamps on a die cut label. By the way, I won that stamp over at the Victorine Stamp FB page. For the pretty bow I used the Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow Die from My Creative Time and I added purple rhinestones for some sparkle.

Here is a closer view of the pretty bow and "Thanks!' sentiment.

Trendy Twine: Happy 5 Years

Good day to all my bloggy friends!
Happy Friday!
Today, we have a special post over at the Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine blog.
Some of the Trendy Twine ladies have gotten together to celebrate Sukie's & Helen's 5 Years of being part of the Trendy Twine DT. It is truly an honor to participate in this wonderful celebration.
Congrats ladies!!
For both cards I used the Beach Babe paper pad & the Scallop Wave Dies from Pink & Main.
The "Smile" sentiment is from the Smile Stamp Set from APB. I used the butterfly & banner dies that I recently purchased. The butterflies are so pretty!

Here is what I created:
For Helen's card, I used the Totally Lemon Trendy Twine  on the bow and a Lemon Tag-Its from APB.

For Sukie's card, I used the Totally Pink Trendy Twine on the bow and a Pink Tag-Its from APB.

Please stop by the Trendy Twine blog to see what the other amazing ladies have created.
